We were proud to have Bob Hammons win 2008 Song Writer of the Year for the second year in a row at the SPBGMA Midwest Convention and Awards Show in Jefferson City,MO.  We were honored and grateful for the other nominations we received.  Above is a picture of us performing at the convention.

We have reached a decision that 2008 will be our last year.  It has been a wonderful experience and we have met many friends in our musical journey.  We look forward to making this last year a special one and hope to see you at one of our concerts.

As we have finished our 2007 season, we were honored to receive four Miwest SPBGMA nominations.  We have been nominated for 2008 Gospel Group of the Year and 2008 Vocal Group of the Year.  Bob Hammons was also nominated for 2008 Song Writer of the Year and our newest CD, 'Journey On', was nominated for 2008 Recording of the Year.  Thank you to all who voted for us and for all who supported us this past year.  We are scheduled to play at the Midwest Convention and Awards Show Jan. 12th and 13th in Jeferson City, MO.

We played the Wooley Creek Bluegrass Festival in Cape Fair, MO on Oct. 14th.  It was all gospel music that day and the setting was really pretty.  A couple of pictures from that day are displayed above.

We enjoyed playing the gospel festival at Hannibal, MO on Oct. 6 with Arlington, The Lewis Family, and the Rev. Hilton Griswold.  Above are some pictures from that festival including a picture of Little Roy Lewis.  We stayed over and gave a concert at the Mission Hill Baptist Church in Palmyra, MO the next morning.  They had a tornado come through earlier in the week and suffered some damage but were able to have services on Sunday. We always enjoy visiting this dynamic church.
